The Aurora facility of Cardinal Health supports pharmaceutical supply chain and warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of medical products. Warehouse Operations at Cardinal Health involve a combination of manual and automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of pharmaceutical products. This role is essential in maintaining the flow of products from vendors to internal and external customers within prescribed service parameters.

The Warehouse Team Member position at Cardinal Health Aurora is a full-time role, scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., or until the work is finished, offering a competitive pay rate of $20.85 per hour. This position does not include bonus eligibility but provides a comprehensive benefits package supporting employee health and well-being. Team members are vital to fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently, contributing directly to the healthcare ecosystem by ensuring that patients receive the products they need on time.

This role requires participation in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and teamwork are paramount. Employees will be cross-trained in multiple warehouse areas, enhancing their skills and adaptability. The work environment includes variable conditions such as working in cold storage areas and occasional use of steel-toed boots for safety. Employees are also expected to maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the facility.

Warehouse team members may be certified to operate material handling equipment such as order pickers (cherry pickers), forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders. The role involves various duties including unloading freight, stock put away, order picking, and pallet load-out, all of which are crucial to the smooth operation of the distribution center.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • follow established process to fulfill orders including accurately picking products performing quality control checks packing products preparing orders for shipment
  • cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as assigned by management
  • occasionally wear steel-toed boots while performing job duties
  • work in cold temperatures during segments of the shift
  • perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • train and certify to drive material handling equipment such as order pickers forklifts reach trucks turret trucks pallet jacks and walkie riders
  • operate equipment to unload freight stock put away order picking and pallet load-out
