Job Requirements

  • RN from accredited licensure program
  • 7-10 years of experience preferred with critical surgical services or OR or leadership
  • Registered nurse license
  • BLS/CPR and ACLS certification
  • Ability to coordinate clinical activities and supervise staff
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement

Job Qualifications

  • Registered nurse licensure
  • Certification in BLS/CPR and ACLS
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • 7-10 years experience in surgical services or leadership
  • Strong critical thinking and clinical coordination skills
  • Experience in performance improvement and staff education

Job Duties

  • Coordinate clinical activities within surgical units
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members
  • Supervise ancillary staff directly and indirectly
  • Lead unit-based performance improvement initiatives
  • Facilitate patient safety goals implementation
  • Conduct competency assessments and educational inservices
  • Assist with staff scheduling and provide clinical support
  • Review nursing documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure medication reconciliation is completed at 100%
  • Act as a role model to promote clinical practice excellence
