Job Requirements
- RN from accredited licensure program
- 7-10 years of experience preferred with critical surgical services or OR or leadership
- Registered nurse license
- BLS/CPR and ACLS certification
- Ability to coordinate clinical activities and supervise staff
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement
Job Qualifications
- Registered nurse licensure
- Certification in BLS/CPR and ACLS
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- 7-10 years experience in surgical services or leadership
- Strong critical thinking and clinical coordination skills
- Experience in performance improvement and staff education
Job Duties
- Coordinate clinical activities within surgical units
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Supervise ancillary staff directly and indirectly
- Lead unit-based performance improvement initiatives
- Facilitate patient safety goals implementation
- Conduct competency assessments and educational inservices
- Assist with staff scheduling and provide clinical support
- Review nursing documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Ensure medication reconciliation is completed at 100%
- Act as a role model to promote clinical practice excellence
