The role of Mixing Operator II at Aspire Bakeries’ Van Nuys location is pivotal in maintaining the bakery's high standards of dough production. This full-time, night-shift position involves precise preparation and mixing of ingredients based on established recipes to achieve ideal dough texture and temperature for downstream bakery processes. The successful Mixing Operator II will oversee the Rheon Line batch output, monitor dough characteristics, manage ingredient inventory including rework integration, and ensure all procedures meet strict food safety standards such as HACCP, allergen control, and GMP. This role demands a mix of technical knowledge and physical stamina, requiring operators to stand for long periods and handle materials up to 50 lbs. Candidates with at least two years of manufacturing experience, particularly in food or dough processing, are preferred. Familiarity with SAP or similar production data systems is advantageous, alongside bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish which can provide a communication edge in this diverse workforce.

Aspire offers a competitive hourly wage between $20.75 and $22.50 for this role, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The position requires weekend availability and is scheduled from 10 PM to 6:30 AM, supporting a 3rd shift operational cycle. The company emphasizes employee wellness through comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, paid parental leave, holiday and paid time off, financial planning options, retirement plans, disability coverage, and ongoing development programs. Aspire’s commitment to diversity and equal employment opportunity underscores its dedication to an inclusive and dynamic workplace. This opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking a challenging, meaningful, and growth-oriented career in an innovative and well-respected bakery leader.
