Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • At least 6 months experience as a mixer or in related role
  • Ability to understand and follow recipes and process controls
  • Basic knowledge of dough mixing and mixing equipment operation
  • Proficient in reading scale and temperature readouts
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Ability to use computers and operating screens
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred

  • Ability to comprehend scale and temperature readouts
  • At least 6 months as a mixer or related experience

Job Duties

  • Prepare and mix ingredients according to formulas while monitoring dough temperatures, texture, and quality throughout the mixing process
  • Follow all standard operating procedures for mixer operation, ingredient management, and data entry systems
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas including prep rooms, coolers, and ingredient storage with proper identification and inventory control
  • Collaborate effectively with Machine Operators and Lead personnel while adhering to food safety, GMP, and health and safety protocols
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities including root cause analysis, problem-solving, and waste reduction initiatives
  • Complete accurate documentation and reporting requirements by end of each shift and communicate any unusual observations to supervisors
  • Other duties as assigned
