The role of Operator 2, Mixer, at Aspire Bakeries' Swedesboro, NJ location is a critical position on the production team. The Mixer is responsible for preparing and mixing dough batches following established recipes, specifications, and production schedules, ensuring consistent high-quality products that meet food safety and quality standards. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to food safety practices. As part of this position, you will monitor mixing times, temperatures, and ingredient sequencing to maintain product integrity while supporting efficient production flow. You will verify ingredients' accuracy, including lot numbers and weights, and document batch records accurately using SAP systems. The position is second shift from 2:00PM to 10:30PM, with weekend availability required and offers an hourly wage between $21.00 and $22.25.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift and handle 50 lb. flour bags as required
- Ability to accurately follow recipes, pick lists, and standard operating procedures
- Ability to complete production and quality documentation accurately and on time
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and quality
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Job Qualifications
- Experience in food manufacturing or bakery mixing operations
- Familiarity with SAP or similar production systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a production team
Job Duties
- Prepare and mix dough batches according to recipes, specifications, and production schedules
- Monitor and control mixing times, temperatures, and ingredient sequencing to ensure quality standards are met
- Support production flow by ensuring timely dough availability aligned with line capacity
- Verify ingredient accuracy, lot numbers, weights, and proper handling procedures
- Accurately document batch records and enter production data into SAP systems
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized mixing, ingredient, and storage areas
- Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety, personal hygiene, and workplace safety requirements
