The role of Operator 2, Bakery-Depanner Assistant is a key position within the Aspire Bakeries team at the Cayce, SC facility. This position involves operating and adjusting production equipment to ensure that bakery products meet strict quality and food safety standards. The Operator 2 is responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and production records, ensuring that work areas and equipment are clean, organized, and safe, and communicating any issues related to equipment, production, or safety to the appropriate personnel. The role requires compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and established production processes and recipes. Operators support equipment startups and changeovers and contribute to daily production activities geared toward meeting operational goals. They must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing basic math and communication tasks. This role requires a collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The shift is on the second shift schedule, from 2 PM to 10:30 PM with weekend availability required.
