Job Requirements

  • Two years of related manufacturing experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Ability to complete routine reports
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to learn new software

  • Two years of related manufacturing experience and/or training or equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as production schedules, safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to complete routine reports
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software
  • Ability to learn new computer software as required by the company

Job Duties

  • Ensure adherence to daily production, packaging, and bagging schedules while maintaining adequate packaging material inventory
  • Set up and adjust case erector measurements and bag inserter programming according to product specifications
  • Change case sizes as required
  • Monitor and verify bag sealing temperatures, box strength, and overall packaging quality
  • Complete regular verification checks
  • Operate packaging equipment including feeding cases and removing from discharge conveyor
  • Communicate maintenance concerns to appropriate teams
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with quality assurance, GMPs, safety protocols, and government regulations
  • Utilize Aspire AOE training with Centerline and CIL daily management systems
  • Participate in root cause analysis, daily area walks, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Train others on standard work procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
