Transdev in Everett, WA is currently hiring an Operations Supervisor to join their team. This full-time, non-collective bargaining agreement (Non-CBA) position offers competitive compensation ranging from $25 to $27 per hour. The role is ideal for individuals who are customer service-oriented, friendly, and dedicated to promoting safety in all aspects of transit operations. The Operations Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing road service, maintaining clear communication with Operators and the general public, and providing outstanding customer support to clients.

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for preparing and assisting with operation reports, audits, schedules, and data analysis. This individual will also maintain daily operational records and handle customer feedback by researching and responding to compliments and complaints. Additionally, the Supervisor will serve as the project manager for selected internal projects and upgrades, ensuring smooth implementation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities of the role include counseling, coaching, and training drivers and dispatchers, monitoring trip performance measures such as on-time starts, incidents, and route efficiency. The Supervisor must ensure that all drivers perform their assigned duties correctly and safely, meeting all job-related specifications. Other duties may encompass road checks, routing, training sessions, payroll support, administrative tasks, and participation in driver hiring processes in accordance with company standards.

This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and demands flexibility in work schedules to meet operational needs. The physical demands include mostly indoor work in climate-controlled environments, prolonged computer use, occasional lifting or moving of materials up to 50 pounds, and some exposure to outdoor weather conditions and traffic. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of transit or related experience
  • 2-3 years driving experience preferred
  • Supervisory experience strongly desired
  • Ability to verbally communicate with passengers, drivers, dispatchers and road supervisors including use of a 2-way radio and PA system effectively
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed
  • Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable
  • Problem solving and analytical abilities
  • Excellent customer service skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
