Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 2-3 years of staff management experience
  • Experience in high volume food service or catering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks

Job Duties

  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment in all aspects of the kitchen and surrounding kitchen areas
  • Ensuring that the menu and recipes are being followed and executed to TNG standards
  • Ensuring that production records are being maintained and kept daily
  • Providing on the spot training when necessary
  • Ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines for meal preparation
  • Assisting in maintaining appropriate inventory levels and taking inventory during end of month
  • Completing mock inspections and observations to ensure readiness
  • Attending daily management staff meetings
  • Leading daily production meetings
  • Assisting in organizing kitchen office paperwork and maintaining effective communication
  • Checking and ensuring HACCP logs are completed
  • Ensuring SERV Safe protocols are followed
  • Completing interviews if needed
  • Reviewing and submitting PFG orders
