The Operations Manager role within Vision Hospitality Group is pivotal in leading and managing all facets of hotel operations. This position requires a hands-on leader who supports and collaborates with teams across departments to ensure smooth business functioning and exceptional guest service. Responsibilities include hotel budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, adherence to company policies and brand standards, and overseeing sales and marketing efforts. The Operations Manager is also responsible for various administrative functions necessary to the hotel's success, such as managing personnel reports, handling accounts receivable and payable, preparing payroll, overseeing daily banking transactions, and maintaining knowledge of hotel systems like the PMS and phone systems. A key aspect of the role is to safeguard the safety and security of guests, associates, and hotel assets, while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive business information. Flexibility in work schedule is essential due to the 24/7 nature of the business, including availability during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior hotel management or supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Dependable transportation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Must be able to use a ladder and work in confined spaces
- Basic English proficiency
- Strong integrity and adherence to company values
Job Qualifications
- Experience in hotel operations management
- Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting
- Familiarity with accounting systems such as M3
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse teams
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems and evacuation procedures
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in administrative and clerical duties
- Knowledge of hotel systems and technology
Job Duties
- Assist in leading, directing and managing all hotel operations including budgeting and forecasting
- Implement and comply with company policies and brand standards
- Oversee sales and marketing initiatives
- Respond to guest inquiries and concerns
- Provide personalized friendly service to guests and associates
- Manage daily financial transactions including cashier deposits and bank deposits
- Perform administrative and clerical duties such as personnel reports and files management
- Ensure proper new hire procedures are followed
- Verify accuracy of cash on hand and log discrepancies
- Utilize M3 accounting system for daily and month-end reports
- Maintain accounts receivable and prepare accounts payable
- Prepare and transmit bi-weekly payroll
- Distribute paychecks to associates
- Have complete knowledge of hotel systems including phone PBX, key system and PMS
- Complete required brand specific, Vision University and health and safety training
- Maintain safety and security of guests, associates and hotel assets
