Job Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years’ progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
  • Or a 4-year college degree and 2 to 4 years of related experience
  • Or a 2-year college degree and 3 to 4 years of related experience
  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of associates and guests
  • Be attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with company standards
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including wearing nametags
  • Proven effectiveness in problem anticipation, prevention, identification and resolution
  • Maintain confidentiality of information
  • Able to work long hours when required
  • Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally
  • Must have a valid driver’s license for the applicable state

Job Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years’ progressive experience in hotel or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively listen to and clarify concerns of associates and guests
  • Proven multitasking and prioritization skills to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented guest interactions
  • Strong problem-solving and confidentiality maintenance abilities
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and professional personal appearance
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership and oversight of hotel operations
  • Ensure safety compliance in all areas
  • Oversee hotel reservations operations
  • Participate in required management on duty coverage as scheduled
  • Ensure training in service standards is taking place in each department using PAH Management standards
  • Assist in creating a positive team-oriented environment focused on guest satisfaction through associate development and motivation
  • Ensure complete processing of invoices daily using accounts payable processes
  • Ensure all financial documents are submitted to the corporate office monthly in compliance with accounting calendar
  • Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of physical property through inspections and preventive maintenance programs
  • Maintain associate attentiveness, friendliness, courtesy, and efficiency in interactions with guests and staff
  • Forecast hotel financial position monthly by estimating revenues and expenses
  • Perform additional duties as requested by the Regional Director of Operations or General Manager
  • Ensure fair and equitable treatment of all associates according to PAH standard operating procedures
  • Be present in public areas during peak times to greet and assist guests
  • Enforce procedures related to hotel safe security and monthly safe audits
