Job Requirements
- At least 3-5 years’ progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
- Or a 4-year college degree and 2 to 4 years of related experience
- Or a 2-year college degree and 3 to 4 years of related experience
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of associates and guests
- Be attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented
- Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with company standards
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including wearing nametags
- Proven effectiveness in problem anticipation, prevention, identification and resolution
- Maintain confidentiality of information
- Able to work long hours when required
- Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally
- Must have a valid driver’s license for the applicable state
Job Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years’ progressive experience in hotel or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively listen to and clarify concerns of associates and guests
- Proven multitasking and prioritization skills to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented guest interactions
- Strong problem-solving and confidentiality maintenance abilities
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and professional personal appearance
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
Job Duties
- Provide leadership and oversight of hotel operations
- Ensure safety compliance in all areas
- Oversee hotel reservations operations
- Participate in required management on duty coverage as scheduled
- Ensure training in service standards is taking place in each department using PAH Management standards
- Assist in creating a positive team-oriented environment focused on guest satisfaction through associate development and motivation
- Ensure complete processing of invoices daily using accounts payable processes
- Ensure all financial documents are submitted to the corporate office monthly in compliance with accounting calendar
- Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of physical property through inspections and preventive maintenance programs
- Maintain associate attentiveness, friendliness, courtesy, and efficiency in interactions with guests and staff
- Forecast hotel financial position monthly by estimating revenues and expenses
- Perform additional duties as requested by the Regional Director of Operations or General Manager
- Ensure fair and equitable treatment of all associates according to PAH standard operating procedures
- Be present in public areas during peak times to greet and assist guests
- Enforce procedures related to hotel safe security and monthly safe audits
