Job Description
Valet Living is a leading provider of essential property services, dedicated to enhancing the lifestyle of residents within multifamily communities across the United States. With a commitment to delivering exceptional service, Valet Living focuses on creating safe, clean, and enjoyable living environments through their innovative suite of services. The company prides itself on a strong culture of leadership, growth, and operational excellence, supporting both employee development and client satisfaction. Valet Living operates as a dynamic and evolving organization that emphasizes servant leadership and fosters a collaborative workplace environment. They offer comprehensive benefits, career advancement opportunities, and a supportive atmosphere where employees are encouraged to thrive and make a meaningful impact within their communities.
The role of Operations Manager at Valet Living is pivotal to achieving the company’s mission of delivering top-notch service to clients while driving operational efficiency and team leadership. This field-based position requires frequent travel within an assigned market and offers a competitive salary range from $80,500 to $85,500, complemented by a performance-based bonus of 15% annually paid quarterly, an auto allowance with both fixed and mileage components, and a flexible work environment including non-standard business hours. The Operations Manager leads a team of Area Leaders, providing coaching, mentoring, and oversight to drive engagement, accountability, and outstanding service delivery.
In this leadership role, you will harness your analytical skills to optimize processes and improve productivity, while managing budgets and reporting financial performance. You will oversee staffing strategies, ensuring proper team coverage in partnership with Recruiting, and enforce system compliance by leading training and standards enforcement related to safety and service protocols. Collaboration with Sales and Account Executives will be essential to maintain client satisfaction and capitalize on growth opportunities. The Operations Manager also conducts site visits to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, manages fleet and inventory operations, and identifies and cultivates future leaders within the organization. Walking the talk of servant leadership, you will work alongside Area Leaders and frontline teams, occasionally supporting daily operational tasks to embody the company’s values.
Valet Living values candidates with 5 to 7 years of leadership experience, preferably including General Manager roles with budget and reporting responsibilities. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with strong capabilities in team management, data analysis using Excel, project management, and superior communication skills. Comfort with technology platforms and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is expected. A valid driver’s license is mandatory due to the travel requirements. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, traversing stairs, and working in varied weather and sometimes less pleasant environments.
Choosing Valet Living means becoming part of an organization that invests in your professional growth and well-being. You will benefit from comprehensive healthcare plans covering medical, dental, and vision, a 401k plan with matching contributions, life and disability insurance, and the flexibility to manage your time effectively with no preset time-off accruals plus paid holidays. The company supports career development through tuition reimbursement and access to educational resources and offers additional perks such as referral bonuses, pet insurance, employee assistance programs, and wellness initiatives like free access to virtual fitness programs. Valet Living is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, inclusion, and providing accommodations for individuals with disabilities throughout the recruitment process.
