Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years hotel management experience preferred
  • Previous leadership experience in the hotel industry
  • Food and beverage experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to coach and manage teams effectively
  • Strong financial knowledge
  • Customer service focus
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
  • No travel required
  • Strong time management and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma required with college degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years hotel management experience preferred
  • Previous hotel leadership experience with proven team management success
  • Extensive financial knowledge and strong business acumen
  • Ability to coach, train, praise, and discipline employees consistently
  • Strong customer focus to deliver optimal employee and guest satisfaction
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license from the appropriate state
  • Demonstrated drive for results and action orientation
  • Strong time management skills

Job Duties

  • Coach and support hotel team to manage wages and controllable expenses effectively
  • Manage costs within the hotel including supplies, utilities, food and beverage, and labor to stay within budget
  • Ensure service and technical training throughout the property
  • Oversee housekeeping operations daily to ensure cleanliness and functionality
  • Review financial reports to assess property performance and develop improvement strategies
  • Maintain open and collaborative relationships with team members and ensure an open door policy for feedback
  • Hire and develop team members with strong expertise and leadership
  • Foster team commitment to exceptional service and participate in daily meetings
  • Serve as guest advocate, resolving issues and improving satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with franchise standards and maintain a safe, secure property
  • Monitor service behaviors and provide feedback
  • Analyze guest feedback data to identify and implement service improvements
  • Ensure operational areas meet or exceed guest expectations
  • Inspire and motivate team to achieve operational excellence
  • Oversee team performance and resource allocation efficiently
