Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 5 years progressive experience in hotel operations
- minimum 2 years supervisory experience
- proficiency in Windows operating system
- strong communication skills both verbal and written
- ability to work extended hours including nights and weekends
- physical ability to exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally
- able to multitask and prioritize
- maintain high personal grooming standards including wearing name tags
- comply with company standards and safety regulations
- maintain confidentiality
- commitment to productivity and problem-solving
- able to handle guest and employee concerns effectively
- attend required meetings and trainings
Job Qualifications
- At least 5 years of progressive hotel experience
- 2 or more years in supervisory roles
- proficiency in Windows and company-approved spreadsheets and word processing
- ability to work long hours
- effective verbal and written communication with employees and guests
- attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented attitude
- effective multitasking and prioritization skills
- understanding and clarifying concerns from employees and guests
- compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards including attendance and grooming

- ability to maintain confidentiality
- willingness to perform other duties as requested by management
Job Duties
- Assist the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with managing the Front Office operation
- provide support to other hotel departments including Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, and Engineering
- provide strong lobby presence to assist front desk agents and guests
- provide shift coverage in Food and Beverage operations as needed
- balance hotel room type inventory
- ensure all Front Desk and Food and Beverage areas meet Paramount standards including cleanliness and signage
- monitor and manage upsell program
- handle guest special requests and customer complaints during shifts
- perform front desk duties
- investigate and resolve complaints, disturbances, and emergencies during shift
- manage employee payroll, track attendance and conduct call-arounds for overtime
- coach, train, counsel hourly associates and administer discipline
- perform Night Audit functions and produce related reports
- prepare and distribute reports as required
- attend and contribute to meetings to maintain favorable working relationships and promote morale, productivity, and efficiency
- participate in Manager On Duty coverage as required
