Job Requirements
- Requires bachelor's degree
- 1-2 years experience in supervising part-time staff
- Experience with recreational or athletic facility operations
- Event planning, execution and oversight experience
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to maintain safety and risk management standards
Job Qualifications

- 1-2 years experience supervising part-time staff and recreational or athletic facility operations
- Experience in event planning, execution and oversight
- Ability to monitor a budget and payroll
- Knowledge of facility reservation processes
- Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification
Job Duties
- Hire, train, evaluate and supervise over 20 part-time student employees including building supervisors and event staff
- Train staff in customer service, conflict management, risk management, communication, event management and business operations
- Plan in-service and coaching sessions emphasizing skill development and staff empowerment
- Supervise daily operations of the Aquatics and Recreation Center and Maclellan Gym
- Manage facility scheduling, rentals, and reservations ensuring proper preparation and access
- Oversee security initiatives including access authorization, accident reporting and risk mitigation
- Assist in preparation and monitoring of annual budget and compliance with university policies
