Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven knowledge, skills, and abilities relevant to the position
  • Valid Georgia driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to perform physical activities including bending, standing, climbing, and walking
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Willingness and ability to respond professionally under dynamic and high-pressure situations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to interact with individuals including those with disabilities
  • Compliance with health and safety protocols and reporting procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience and be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodations
  • High school diploma or equivalent, college degree or active college student preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with airport tenants, state and federal authorities
  • Valid Georgia driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with airport employees, airline employees, Department of Aviation personnel, airport tenants, and Customs and Border Protection officers
  • General knowledge of computer applications, software and hardware

Job Duties

  • Manually update MUFIDS information and monitor for errors
  • Assign personnel to respond to passenger injuries and coordinate medical assistance with full documentation
  • Dispatch appropriate personnel to security alarms
  • Complete FOD inspections and coordinate ramp sweeping and scrubbing
  • Conduct daily inspections of airport facilities for janitorial, maintenance, structural, and housekeeping concerns
  • Act as an extension of the Department of Aviation monitoring Airside and Landside Operations, Customer Services, Security, CBP, airport tenants, and partner airlines
  • Manage aircraft snow and deicing operations
  • Ensure life-safety of taxiing aircraft and personnel exposed to engine blasts on Concourse F
  • Comply with FAA regulations and operational requests from FAA, CBP, Department of Aviation and partner airlines
  • Assure compliance with common use and other regulations related to ground transportation, airline, FBO and ramp procedures
  • Record aircraft arrivals, departures and other data for billing purposes
  • Respond to tenant and user needs
  • Maintain working environment and equipment in a clean, neat, and orderly manner
  • Perform other assigned tasks as needed
