Job Requirements
- Ability to perform primary job functions satisfactorily
- Knowledge of company policies and regulations
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively in writing and orally
- Proficiency with club software and email communication software such as Microsoft Outlook
- Minimum of one year experience in hospitality or related service role
- Food safety certification if applicable
- Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
- Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player
- Self-motivated with ability to anticipate needs and willingness to learn
- Well organized and detail oriented
- CPR certified
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Flexibility to work day and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- At least one year experience in the hospitality industry or related service position preferred
- Food safety certification if applicable
- Professional and friendly manner with excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Enthusiastic and responsible team player
- Self-motivated and takes initiative to anticipate needs and acquire new skills
- Well organized and detail oriented
- CPR certification
Job Duties
- Greet members and guests upon arrival to the club
- Check members in by verifying their membership
- Ensure guests complete guest registration waivers and pay applicable fees
- Book appointments, programs, and class reservations for members
- Provide information regarding club programming and facilities
- Deliver exceptional service experience to members, guests, and associates
- Represent the club professionally through image, dress, communication, and follow-up
- Operate cash register and process payments
- Manage cash and balance cash drawer each shift
- Perform opening and/or closing duties as required
- Answer and transfer phone calls
- Create and serve food and beverage items
- Promote daily specials and encourage order upgrades
- Maintain clean, safe work environment per food safety standards
- Act as host in designated pool or event spaces
- Assist with maintaining refreshment stations and towel operations
- Audit cars parked in parking garage if applicable
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and stock levels throughout the club
- Perform detailed cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks
- Assist with laundry functions including collecting, washing, drying, and folding towels
- Communicate timely and actively participate in meetings and trainings
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
