The role of Operations & IT Support Coordinator at Notre Dame School of Milwaukee represents an exceptional entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in entering the fields of school administration and information technology within a mission-driven educational environment. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations and based at the Saint Florian Office, this exempt, full-time position operates within standard business hours and is integral to the seamless daily operations of the school. The Operations & IT Support Coordinator plays a pivotal role in maintaining the efficient functioning of administrative tasks and technology support services across the multiple campuses.

Key responsibilities encompass providing operational assistance such as supporting administrative needs, coordinating events and logistics, managing supply inventories, maintaining organized records, and addressing facilities requests in collaboration with external vendors. Equally important is the IT support function which involves serving as the first point of contact for technology-related issues, troubleshooting hardware and software problems including computers, printers, and phones, managing device setup and user accounts, conducting end-of-year audits for staff and student devices, and assisting with Google Workspace account administration. The coordinator is also responsible for maintaining an accurate technology inventory, tracking devices, and liaising with the Director of IT as necessary.

This role requires a service-minded and organized individual who embodies a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, ensuring that faculty and staff receive reliable support in both operations and technology spheres. Candidates should possess a high school diploma, with an associate or bachelor’s degree preferred or in progress. Strong organizational and communication skills, basic familiarity with Windows and macOS environments, and foundational networking knowledge are essential competencies. The position demands the ability to multitask, prioritize effectively amidst diverse responsibilities, and uphold the school’s mission of delivering Catholic education.

Candidates must be prepared for occasional physical activity such as lifting supplies and should be able to commute between campuses. Flexibility in working hours may be needed to cover early mornings, evenings, or weekend events. This role is suited for individuals seeking a dynamic work environment that merges operational management with IT support duties within an educational setting dedicated to enriching student lives and fostering community growth.
