The role of Operations & Events Coordinator at Genea is a vital position within the Operations - Administration department. Reporting to the Director of Administration, this role is hybrid with a work location at the Irvine, CA office (three days weekly) and remote work from home (two days weekly). The Operations & Events Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the company’s executive priorities, major initiatives, and daily operational functions while managing internal and external events. The coordinator acts as a central operational partner, fostering seamless communication and collaboration between senior leadership, vendors, partners, and cross-functional teams.

This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines with professionalism and sound judgment. The coordinator is responsible for supporting executive calendar management, coordinating significant company events ranging from leadership meetings and team-building activities to large external conferences and trade shows. Additionally, this position oversees daily office operations such as vendor management, supply inventory, and maintaining an organized and efficient office environment.

The position offers an estimated salary range of $31.25 to $36.00 per hour, reflecting the level of experience and qualifications required. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or two to four years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work onsite at the Irvine, CA office up to three times a week

Job Duties

  • Serve as a key operational partner to the Director of Administration supporting executive priorities events office operations and cross-functional initiatives
  • Assist in calendar management for various members of the Executive Team
  • Coordinate planning and execution of internal events leadership meetings team-building activities and company gatherings
  • Support planning and execution of external conferences trade shows and partner events including logistics vendor coordination and shipping
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations including vendor coordination supply management and maintaining an organized Irvine office environment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
