Job Requirements
- Must be a resident of the State of Arizona
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift and move items of 70 pounds or more
- Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
- Must comply with DOT drug and alcohol testing program
- Must be able to work assigned shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance and comply with company attendance standards
- Must possess a valid state motor vehicle operator's license
- Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge
Job Qualifications
- Two years of airline or military related work experience in ramp, operations, or provisioning functions preferred
- Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge and meet all local airport requirements
- Must possess a valid state motor vehicle operator's license
- Ability to work well with others as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Must be GSC qualified
- Must successfully complete Operations Agent training program with a 90 percent or greater average and evaluation
Job Duties
- Provides friendly service to and maintains positive relationships with all internal and external customers
- Works in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of the company
- Coordinates boarding and deplaning customers and operates boarding bridge
- Prepares dispatch release forms and collects weather reports
- Monitors ramp activities to ensure timely loading and unloading of aircraft
- Handles station AMS and radio communications traffic as needed
- Prepares weight and balance forms and advises dispatch and other departments of flight departures and arrivals
