Job Requirements
- Valid CDL-A or CDL-B required
- One year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
- High school or GED or equivalent
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with general public
- Understand highway traffic signs and signals in English
- Respond to official inquiries
- Make entries on reports and records
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A or CDL-B license
- One year of route delivery or straight truck driving experience
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations
- Ability to pass road and background checks
Job Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles safely on local routes
- Deliver fresh food products timely to customers
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain clean truck conditions
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Complete delivery paperwork and electronic logs accurately
- Participate in company safety and training programs
