Currently, FreshPoint is actively seeking dedicated local drivers to join their team through an open interview event. This recruitment drive is looking to fill multiple positions including Local CDL-A Delivery Drivers, CDL-A Shuttle Drivers, Local CDL-B Delivery Drivers, and Local Non-CDL Delivery Drivers. These roles emphasize local routes with the advantage of being home daily, catering to individuals seeking consistent schedules and a healthy work-life balance. The starting hourly wages vary by license qualifications, with CDL-A drivers beginning at $24.00 per hour, CDL-B drivers at $21.00 per hour, and non-CDL drivers at $18.00 per hour. Job Requirements

  • Valid CDL-A license for CDL-A delivery and shuttle drivers
  • Valid CDL-B license for CDL-B delivery drivers
  • Valid driver’s license for non-CDL delivery drivers
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of driving experience in a similar role
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
  • Ability to understand and comply with safety regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Valid CDL-A license for CDL-A Driver positions
  • Valid CDL-B license for CDL-B Driver positions
  • Valid driver’s license for non-CDL Driver positions
  • Previous commercial driving experience preferred
  • Good driving record
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles on local routes
  • Deliver fresh food products accurately and on time
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Complete delivery documentation and reports
  • Assist with loading and unloading products as needed
