Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant hands-on experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to work onsite and live at the property
  • Ability to be on call overnight and respond to emergencies
  • Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting 50 pounds
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexible schedule including availability for after-hours shifts
  • Commitment to providing excellent guest service
  • Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • Willingness to perform diverse job duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hotel maintenance, housekeeping, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to perform light electrical and plumbing tasks
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently
  • Basic knowledge of emergency procedures and guest services
  • Good physical condition to perform repetitive climbing of stairs, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • Conducting light plumbing tasks such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • Participating in preventative maintenance programs
  • Performing public space janitorial work, parking lot upkeep, and trash cleanup
  • Conducting PTAC cleaning, drywall repair, painting, caulking
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • Following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security of the property and guests
  • Assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours
  • Providing excellent customer service and addressing any guest needs or concerns
  • Regularly being on call overnight for afterhours guest needs
  • Performing other duties as assigned
