Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hotel or property maintenance
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs and ladders
  • Ability to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend, and twist for long periods
  • Capacity to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to live onsite and take overnight on-call shifts
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexibility to handle varying job duties

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
  • Basic computer skills for managing work orders and inventory

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • Performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • Conducting preventative maintenance programs
  • Performing public space janitorial work
  • Maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • Cleaning PTAC units
  • Repairing drywall
  • Painting and caulking as needed
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • Providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • Following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours
  • Providing excellent customer service and addressing guest needs or concerns
  • Regularly being on call overnight for afterhours guest needs
  • Performing other duties as assigned
