Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • ability to work overnight and live onsite
  • capability to perform manual labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • availability for on-call overnight shifts

  • good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures

  • physical ability to perform manual tasks

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • light plumbing including plunging and snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • maintaining preventive maintenance programs
  • janitorial work in public spaces
  • parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units, drywall repair, painting, caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • placing orders for supplies with management
  • prepping rooms for housekeeping including removing linens and trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security of property and guests
  • assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours
  • providing excellent customer service and addressing guest needs or concerns
  • regularly being on call overnight for afterhours guest needs
  • performing other duties as assigned
