Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in maintenance or housekeeping preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- capability to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
- ability to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
- willingness to live onsite and be available for overnight on-call duties
- strong organizational skills
- basic maintenance skills including light electrical and plumbing work

- previous experience in hotel maintenance or custodial services preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- ability to follow safety procedures and emergency protocols

Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- executing preventative maintenance programs, public space janitorial work, parking lot upkeep, and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units, repairing drywall, painting, and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours, providing excellent customer service and addressing guest needs or concerns
- being regularly on call overnight for after-hours guest needs
- performing other duties as assigned
