Job Description
Landing is a pioneering company that has revolutionized the flexible living experience since its inception in 2019. With the fastest-growing network in the country, Landing offers access to over 35 markets and thousands of apartments, all designed to eliminate the common hassles of deposits and complicated leasing. This innovative flexible living platform caters to individuals and families looking for seamless, hassle-free residential solutions. Bridging the gap between traditional leasing and the evolving needs of today’s mobile lifestyle, Landing creates a dynamic living community that adapts to diverse personal and professional needs. The company emphasizes fast-paced growth, adaptability, and a customer-centric approach, which is reflected in its services and operational culture.
Landing is currently seeking a dedicated Property Owner Manager to join their Nashville, TN market team. This role is crucial in managing a portfolio of at least 30 units within one of their vibrant properties. The individual will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day member experience, maintaining strong property and housekeeping vendor relationships, and ensuring the highest standards of unit quality and maintenance are upheld. Managing reservations across Landing’s own platform as well as through key OTA (Online Travel Agency) partners like Airbnb and Booking.com forms a significant part of the job. Handling member inquiries, resolving issues promptly across different communication channels, and reporting on overall property performance are vital aspects of this position.
This role demands a hands-on, onsite presence; the successful candidate will live onsite to react swiftly to any arising issues while fostering genuine in-person connections with guests and property stakeholders. Candidates with experience in hotel operations, short-term rental management, or managing high-volume hospitality portfolios will find this role familiar and rewarding. The property ownership role at Landing is dynamic and requires the ability to make quick decisions often with incomplete information, always prioritizing the best customer experience. It also offers the opportunity to shape and refine operational processes continually, contributing meaningfully to the company’s ongoing playbook development.
Beyond operational management, the Property Owner Manager will own reservation management across various platforms, ensuring seamless coordination of bookings, member experiences, and property maintenance. They will monitor key performance indicators such as Net Promoter Score (NPS), Customer Satisfaction (CSAT), cleaning quality, and growth metrics. The role also involves coordinating property onboarding, installation, and launching of new units, which makes it a vital strategic position that aligns on-the-ground execution with broader market objectives.
Landing values candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments, possess strong organizational skills, and are adept at prioritization under pressure. The company itself operates in a continuously evolving setting, characteristic of a growth-stage company where answers are not always readily available, which means that flexibility and comfort with ambiguity are essential qualities for success. The work schedule is non-traditional and requires availability beyond typical business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support guest operations effectively.
The compensation package for this role is competitive and designed to support both personal and professional growth. The base salary ranges from $50,000 to $55,000 annually, complemented by a performance bonus of up to 25% of the base salary and includes housing provisions. Additional benefits feature stock options, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, disability and life insurance, mental health support, pet benefits, commuter benefits, and flexible spending accounts. Retirement support is available through a 401(k) plan alongside access to ImmediatePay, and generous paid time off policies promote a healthy work-life balance. Employees also enjoy a $750 annual travel perk for stays within the Landing network. Landing is committed to equal opportunity employment, fostering an inclusive workplace where diversity is respected and valued.
