Job Description

Landing is a leading company in the flexible living sector, having built the largest flexible living network in the United States since its inception in 2019. Operating in over 35 markets with thousands of apartments, Landing provides a hassle-free living experience with no deposits required, catering to the evolving needs of modern residents. The company prides itself on its rapid growth and dynamic environment, reflecting a fast-paced industry where priorities frequently shift, requiring employees to adapt swiftly and efficiently. Known for creating seamless living experiences, Landing leverages technology and customer-centric approaches to redefine how people find and enjoy temporary housing in key urban markets.

The property ownership role at Landing located in the Raleigh-Durham, NC market, offers a unique opportunity for hands-on management of one of the company's properties. This position involves overseeing at least 30 residential units, managing all aspects of property operations including member experiences, vendor relationships such as housekeeping and maintenance, unit quality assurance, and coordination of reservations through Landing's proprietary platform as well as third-party online travel agencies like Airbnb and Booking.com. Serving as the primary point of contact onsite, the individual in this role will live at the property, allowing for immediate responsiveness to guest needs, issue resolution, and fostering strong community relationships both with members and property partners.

This role is perfectly suited for those with a background in hotel operations, short-term rental management, or managing a high-volume hospitality portfolio. It requires a high degree of autonomy and decision-making to effectively manage operations in a fast-moving environment where many challenges must be handled simultaneously. The successful candidate will thrive in ambiguous and rapidly changing conditions, prioritize customer satisfaction, and develop and refine operational systems while actively using them. This is not a typical fixed-schedule job; it demands flexibility, availability beyond regular business hours, and commitment to ensuring exemplary guest services at all times.

Landing offers competitive compensation in the range of $50,000 to $55,000 base salary, complemented by a performance bonus of up to 25% of the base salary, and includes housing as part of the package. This role also provides stock options and a comprehensive benefits package covering medical, dental, vision, life, accidental death and dismemberment, disability, mental health support, pet insurance, commuter benefits, and flexible spending account or health savings account options. Additional perks include retirement plan support via a 401(k), generous paid time off to maintain work-life balance, and an annual travel perk of $750 USD in Landing Stays. Landing values internal growth and upward mobility with a management team primarily formed from internal promotions, making this a promising career path for motivated individuals who enjoy a dynamic workplace. The company is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, inclusion, and providing equitable employment opportunities for all qualified candidates regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
