Currently, Fooda is looking for a part-time Event Coordinator to join their Hoboken, NJ market team. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for candidates with experience or strong interest in hospitality, food service, catering, events, or operations who are eager to gain hands-on experience and work at the forefront of a growing food technology platform. The position offers a significant career pathway with the potential to transition to a full-time role within 12 months for those who demonstrate high performance and commitment.

The Event Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the daily success of Fooda’s food programs by managing operations, coordinating catering and meeting orders, and maintaining excellent relationships with client companies and restaurant partners. This includes providing attentive, detail-oriented support for onsite food service events, handling administrative and financial tasks with precision, and upholding the high standards of Fooda’s service and brand.

Being onsite Monday through Friday, the Event Coordinator will act as the primary liaison for day-to-day needs, help resolve any service issues proactively, and work closely with the Fooda management team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Job Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Availability for consistent onsite presence Monday through Friday
  • Prior experience in hospitality events catering or food service preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Support the daily onsite execution of Fooda programs across assigned locations ensuring service is timely accurate and executed to a high standard of quality and presentation
  • Be assigned to some of Fooda’s most important client accounts operating with exceptional professionalism sound judgment and strong attention to detail in all interactions
  • Maintain a consistent Monday–Friday onsite presence providing reliable steady support aligned with client expectations and program needs
  • Act as an onsite point of contact for day-to-day client needs catering requests and service questions escalating issues as appropriate
  • Coordinate catering and meeting orders including gathering requirements communicating with restaurant partners and overseeing setup and breakdown
  • Partner closely with restaurant teams to confirm orders delivery timing setup expectations and adherence to Fooda service standards
  • Support management of the restaurant network at your locations including ongoing communication performance feedback and basic onboarding or offboarding support
  • Own all operational and administrative responsibilities tied to your locations including financial inputs order reconciliation invoicing support menu updates and maintaining system accuracy
  • Ensure menus point-of-sale details signage and all onsite materials are accurate current and reflective of brand standards
  • Deliver a high level of customer service to both clients and consumers resolving issues promptly and professionally
  • Identify onsite trends and operational opportunities proactively sharing insights with the account manager to drive continuous improvement
