The role of Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk (In-Store Grocery Shopper) at Smith's Food and Drug is both dynamic and essential to the company’s mission of delivering excellent service and fresh products. The Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk is responsible for assembling online orders, processing payments and coupons, and ensuring orders are accurately delivered and loaded into customers’ vehicles upon arrival for pick-up.

Job Requirements
- Ability to work without supervision
- Ability to read shelf tags
- Basic math skills including counting, addition, and subtraction
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work without supervision
- Experience as a personal shopper, production worker, warehouse employee, shelf stocker, or cashier preferred
- Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when needed
- Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable and cooperative manner
Job Duties
- Select and gather products for customers' online orders with attention to freshness and quality
- Assemble customers' online orders
- Process coupons and payment
- Deliver and load orders to customers' cars upon arrival
- Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards
- Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at the time of pickup
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of staging areas and equipment
