This job opportunity is for an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk who will work as an In-Store Grocery Shopper. The core responsibility of this role is to efficiently select and gather products for customers’ online orders with an emphasis on freshness and quality. This individual will assemble orders accurately, process coupons and payments, and assist with loading orders into customers’ vehicles during store pick-up. The role requires excellent communication skills to provide a positive customer service experience that encourages customers to continue using the online shopping platform. The Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk plays an essential part in upholding Kroger’s core values while ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of online grocery orders. Job Duties

  • Select and gather products for customers' on-line orders with attention to freshness and quality
  • assemble customers' on-line orders
  • process coupons and payment
  • deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive for pick up
  • scan and bag orders following bagging standards
  • communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up
  • meet or exceed customer expectations for shopping ease, variety, freshness, and cleanliness
  • adhere to food safety procedures, local, state, and federal laws
  • receive customers' orders from Order Selector and store products appropriately
  • communicate professionally with customers via portable phone
  • ensure order accuracy and load orders into customers' cars
  • provide positive customer service experience encouraging repeat online shopping
  • process orders through point of sale system
  • follow policies for substitutions in out-of-stock scenarios
  • maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment
  • report discrepancies and equipment issues to supervisors
  • perform opening and closing procedures
  • assist in training new e-Commerce team members
  • meet or exceed productivity standards
  • work cooperatively in high paced and stressful environment
  • manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
  • act honestly and with integrity regarding customer and business information
