The Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk position at Ralphs is a customer-facing role vital to the successful execution of customers' online grocery orders. The person in this position is responsible for selecting and gathering items from the store accurately and efficiently, ensuring quality and freshness, and assembling the orders for pickup. This role requires a keen attention to detail, a focus on customer service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk also processes coupons and payments and physically delivers and loads the orders into customers’ vehicles upon arrival, providing a seamless and positive shopping experience that encourages repeat online orders. The duties extend beyond mere order fulfillment and include communicating with customers regarding any order substitutions or exceptions, maintaining staging areas for organization and safety, adhering to food safety and company policies, and collaborating closely with other team members.
