The Site Training Manager & Content Developer position at Web Industries is crucial to advancing the company’s manufacturing excellence and employee development objectives. This onsite role, located in Suwanee, GA, is responsible for overseeing all training operations on the Atlanta site, ensuring employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles safely and effectively. The Site Training Manager leads the planning, scheduling, delivery, and tracking of training programs while continuously measuring their effectiveness for ongoing improvement. Beyond site-specific duties, this role has a corporate function, developing high-quality operator training content that is utilized across multiple company locations. This content is developed in collaboration with internal subject matter experts, engineers, lead operators, and external organizations to incorporate industry best practices and innovative technologies.

The role requires strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate cross-functional efforts, maintain training documentation, and support onboarding and safety initiatives. The Site Training Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with recurring and refresher training requirements and supporting operator qualification processes with clear evaluation criteria. Candidates will need to demonstrate proficiency in designing varied training materials including instructor-led sessions, hybrid modules, videos, and written documentation that simplify complex technical concepts into operator-friendly formats. This position involves global travel commitments of 5 to 10 days per month and requires the ability to work on government contracts, indicating a high level of responsibility and professional accountability in a manufacturing environment.

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5-7 years of manufacturing experience
  • Training and learning development experience preferred
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing environments and technical systems
  • Previous experience administering or supporting a learning management system (LMS)
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
  • Must be able to work on government contracts
  • Willingness to travel globally 5-10 days per month
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee training planning, scheduling, execution, and compliance tracking
  • Measure training effectiveness and implement improvements
  • Communicate training program updates, requirements, and progress
  • Lead and continuously improve the site’s manufacturing training program
  • Use site feedback to improve training processes and materials
  • Perform or support onboarding activities including safety, orientation, and operator basics
  • Ensure recurring and refresher training is delivered and documented
  • Maintain site training documentation and training records
  • Support operator qualification processes, including evaluation criteria
  • Work with stakeholders across all sites to identify training content gaps and prioritize development activities
  • Gather content from engineers, lead operators, documentation, equipment manufacturers, industry associations, and other internal sources
  • Incorporate content and best practices from third party experts in process technologies such as flexographic printing, extrusion, sewing, safety, and Lean
  • Translate technical information into clear, operator ready training materials
  • Develop and maintain training content including videos, instructor-led materials, hybrid modules, and written content
  • Coordinate and track annual and recurring safety training requirements
  • Maintain site safety training logs and documentation
  • Develop corporate and site-specific safety training to be used across multiple sites
  • Participate in safety audits and site safety teams
  • Support continuous improvement and compliance initiatives related to safety training
