Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Successful completion of Motor Vehicle Record check required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Willingness to travel regularly within the market and occasionally via plane/train
- Ability to move up to 55 lbs
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods and work at a desk/computer for extended times
- Effective communication skills
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle physical demands such as climbing stairs or ladders
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience preferred
- Approximately 1 year of results-oriented experience in outside sales or food and beverage industry preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communication abilities
- Computer literacy with advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Proven ability to work independently and achieve goals with minimal direction
- Strong planning, prioritization, and execution skills
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels
Job Duties
- Develop and manage relationships with key on-premise accounts within the assigned territory
- Achieve sales targets and distribution goals by executing sales initiatives and securing new placements
- Conduct regular account visits to ensure proper product placement, stock rotation, and point-of-sale material execution
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence
- Plan and execute on-premise events, samplings, staff trainings, and promotions
- Educate account staff and consumers on products, features, and benefits
- Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and report findings to sales leadership
- Maintain accurate records of sales calls, account activity, activation feedback, expenses, and market trends
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and distributor work-withs
- Represent the company at local industry events, festivals, promotions, and trade shows
