Job Requirements

Minimum age requirement as per local laws
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Reliable and punctual attendance
Ability to respond actively to scheduling communications
Must work at least one shift every 4 weeks (minimum four hours) and at least one shift within 6 months to maintain employment
Exposure to varying temperatures and physical job demands
Ability to lift or move merchandise weighing up to 44 pounds
Use of myTime mobile app for shift scheduling
Ability to operate power equipment if certified
Adherence to safety and compliance policies
Ability to remain mobile throughout shift duration
Willingness to maintain store cleanliness and guest service standards
Administrative termination if unresponsive to contact attempts

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
Ability to communicate effectively and work with a team
Capable of using handheld scanners and other technology equipment
Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Capability to multitask and prioritize under time constraints
Willingness to learn and undergo training
Basic cash handling skills
Ability to safely climb ladders and handle merchandise
Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude

Job Duties

Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
Observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact and tailor your approach accordingly
Engage with guests in a genuine way by asking questions to understand their specific needs
Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services in the store and your area to solve guest issues
Thank guests in a genuine way and show appreciation for choosing Target
Help guests while completing workload with minimal disruption
Work across departments to ensure the sales floor is stocked, zoned, and in order
Push and stock products to sales floor
Execute adjacency changes, transitions, revisions, and sales plans
Conduct weekly price change workload and ensure signing is accurate
Complete scans and system audits to maintain inventory accuracy
Support major transitions and ISM
Maintain store interior and exterior cleanliness and brand standards
Accurately execute product pulls and backstock from all departments
Process inbound deliveries ensuring inventory accuracy
Complete backroom weekly audits
Operate power equipment when certified
Maintain backroom organization and follow equipment guidelines
Follow processes with attention to detail and prioritize tasks accordingly
Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance culture
Work safely to identify and correct hazards
Support guest services such as backup cashier, order pickup, and Drive-up while maintaining compliance
Perform other duties as needed based on business needs
