Job Requirements
- availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays
- ability to pick up shifts regularly and respond to scheduling communications
- physically able to stand and remain mobile for the duration of shifts
- ability to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds safely
- effective communication skills

- pass background check and employment eligibility verification
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous retail or customer service experience helpful but not required
- strong communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- positive and welcoming attitude toward guests and team members
- ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology
- flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- attention to detail while multi-tasking
- capability to handle cash registers accurately
Job Duties
- demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
- engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
- be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store to improve guest experience
- thank guests and express appreciation for choosing to shop at Target
- scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately while complying with food safety standards
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy and service quality
- make guests aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
- promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment
- educate guests on fulfillment services and app features
- manage returns by following register prompts and partnering with leaders to resolve issues
- assist in de-escalating situations and recovering guest experience complying with company policies
- deliver accurate service to order pick up, Drive Up, and registry guests
- maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
- stock supplies during store hours
- demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- work safely and report hazards
- support cash office processes as needed
- perform all other duties based on business needs
