The position of On-Demand Team Member at Target offers a unique and flexible work opportunity. On-Demand Team Members are expected to maintain reliable attendance and engage actively by working at least one shift every four weeks with a minimum duration of four hours. Communication is essential in this role, as responsiveness to scheduling contacts and shift confirmations ensures your continued employment. Failure to work a shift within five months or to respond to communication attempts may result in termination. Upon hiring, new team members will undergo an orientation and short-term training to prepare them for the responsibilities of the role.
In this capacity, you will serve as a Guest Advocate, which means providing outstanding customer service by welcoming guests, helping solve their needs, and promoting store services efficiently. The role involves various guest interaction points such as checklanes, guest services, gift registry, order pick-up, and Drive Up. Typical duties include greeting guests, assisting with their purchases, managing returns, educating guests about loyalty programs and mobile app features, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting compliance and safety standards.
