Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • reliable and prompt attendance
  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
  • active engagement in shift selection and communication with leadership
  • minimum work of one shift every 4 weeks
  • ability to handle physical demands of lifting up to 44 pounds
  • ability to work in various environmental conditions
  • compliance with safety and ethical standards

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks
  • engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
  • be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store to solve issues and improve guest experience
  • scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards
  • minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy
  • promote Target loyalty programs and assist guests with application or sign-up
  • manage returns and de-escalate situations following company policies
  • deliver service to order pick up, drive up, and registry guests
  • maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
  • stock supplies during store hours while being available for guests
  • follow safety policies and report hazards
  • support cash office processes including management of cash systems
  • perform additional duties based on business needs
