Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior retail or customer service experience preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays and peak periods
- excellent communication skills
- ability to operate handheld scanning technology and multiple frequency communication devices
- physical ability to stand and remain mobile for entire shift
- capable of lifting and moving merchandise weighing up to 44 pounds
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- able to respond promptly to communication from leadership
- willingness to complete required orientation and training
- adherence to Target’s safety and ethical standards
- authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
- engage with guests to solve specific needs in a welcoming way
- be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve experience
- scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards
- minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
- make guests aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events
- assist guests with enrollment in loyalty programs and use of digital services
- manage returns and partner with leaders to resolve guest concerns
- support order pick up, Drive Up and Registry guests with accurate service
- maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
- stock supplies during store hours while remaining available for guests
- comply with safety policies, report hazards and maintain ethical conduct
- support cash office duties including cash management
- perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs
