Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
  • capability to scan, handle, and move merchandise including lifting up to 44 pounds
  • flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times
  • active engagement in picking up shifts as scheduled

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
  • engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
  • be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store to improve guest experience
  • scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards
  • minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
  • promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up
  • support order pick-up, drive-up, and registry services
  • maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
  • follow all safety policies and report hazards
  • support cash office processes as needed
  • partner with leaders to de-escalate situations and recover guest experience
