Designed for individuals seeking control over their work hours, this position allows team members to select shifts using Target’s myTime mobile scheduling app based on their availability, making it ideal for students, caregivers, or those balancing multiple commitments. Starting at an hourly rate of $19.00 USD, On-Demand Team Members contribute to the store’s guest experience by actively engaging with guests, supporting various operational functions, and ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. This role requires reliable attendance and a minimum commitment of working at least one shift every five months to maintain employment. Team members begin their journey with Target by participating in an orientation and structured training to prepare them for success in their duties.
As a Guest Advocate within the On-Demand Team Member framework, you will be the face of Target’s customer service, responsible for greeting and assisting guests, answering questions about products and store services, and resolving concerns efficiently and courteously. This role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to work quickly in a dynamic environment, and a willingness to educate guests on Target’s digital tools such as the Target App and loyalty programs. Beyond direct guest interactions, you will also support store operations including scanning and bagging purchases following safety standards, managing order pick-up and drive-up services, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Job Requirements
