Job Requirements
- Flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to pick up shifts as needed and respond to contact attempts
- minimum work commitment of one four-hour shift every four weeks
- reliable and prompt attendance
- physical capability to lift up to 44 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently
- ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift
- capability to work in varying temperature and humidity conditions
- compliance with company policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in customer service or retail is a plus
- effective communication skills including positive language and attentiveness
- ability to remain focused and composed in fast-paced environments
- welcoming and helpful attitude
- attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
- willingness to learn and educate guests on products and services
- ability to use handheld scanners and other technology

Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests
- engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their needs
- be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to improve guest experience
- scan and bag all guest items efficiently and accurately
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
- promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with applications
- support order pick up, drive up, and registry guests
- maintain a clean and clutter-free work area including gathering abandoned items and hangers
- support cash office processes as needed
- comply with safety policies and report hazards
- partner with leaders to de-escalate situations and recover guest experience
