Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- ability to accurately handle cash transactions
- capability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- physical stamina to remain mobile during shifts
- flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- reliable and prompt attendance
- ability to respond to contact attempts regarding shift availability
- willingness to work at least one shift every four weeks
- compliance with safety and company policies
- exposure to varying temperatures and conditions during certain duties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- effective communication skills
- ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment
- welcoming and helpful attitude
- attention to detail and multitasking ability
- willingness to educate guests about products and services
- capable of operating handheld scanners and technology equipment
- ability to work independently and in a team
- experience in cash handling and register operations a plus
Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests during daily tasks
- engage with guests to solve their specific needs
- be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to enhance guest experience
- thank guests and show appreciation for shopping at Target
- scan and bag guest items efficiently while maintaining food safety standards
- minimize guest wait time while ensuring accuracy
- promote current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
- assist guests with Target Loyalty programs and app features
- handle returns and escalations in accordance with policies
- support Order Pick-Up, Drive-Up, and Registry services
- maintain clean and clutter-free work areas
- stock supplies during open hours
- comply with safety policies and ethical conduct
- support cash office processes as needed
- perform other duties based on business needs
