Job Requirements

  • accurately handle cash register operations and support cash office processes
  • safely scan, handle, and move merchandise up to 44 pounds
  • flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • reliable and prompt attendance
  • active engagement by working shifts via myTime mobile app every four weeks
  • respond to Target's contact attempts to confirm availability
  • work at least one shift within six months
  • capable of working in varying temperatures and conditions
  • ability to remain mobile during a scheduled shift

Job Duties

  • demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard

  • be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store to solve issues and improve guest experience

  • scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards
  • work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy
  • promote current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
  • explain benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-ups
  • support digital services, including Wallet and Target App features
  • process returns following store policies
  • help de-escalate negative situations and recover guest experience
  • deliver easy and accurate service for order pickup, drive-up, and registry guests
  • maintain a clean, clutter-free workspace
  • comply with safety and ethical conduct standards
  • support cash office processes as needed
  • perform other duties based on business needs
