Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times
- reliable and prompt attendance
- effective communication skills
- ability to use technology and mobile apps for scheduling
- physical ability to handle merchandise and remain on feet for extended periods
- willingness to engage positively with customers and team members
- availability to pick up shifts regularly with at least one shift worked within five months to remain employed
- ability to comply with safety and ethical standards
- capacity to work in variable temperatures and environmental conditions

Job Duties
- demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
- engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
- be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store and your area to solve guest issues and improve their experience
- thank guests and express appreciation for choosing Target
- scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy and quality
- promote current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
- inform guests about Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment
- assist guests in using the Target App and its features
- manage returns according to register prompts and company policies
- partner with leaders to de-escalate situations and recover guest experiences
- deliver accurate service to Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
- restock supplies during store hours
- work safely and comply with all safety policies
- support guest services with compliance to laws and company policies
- assist with cash office processes as needed
- perform other duties as business needs arise
