Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience helpful but not required
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to handle cash register operations accurately
- Ability to lift or move product weighing up to 44 pounds
- Capable of working in varying temperature and humidity conditions
- Required to respond to contact attempts and pick up shifts at least once every four weeks
- Must work a minimum of one shift every six months to maintain employment

- Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
- Observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact by following body language and verbal clues and tailor your approach
- Engage with guests in a genuine way, including asking questions to better understand their specific needs
- Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store to solve issues and improve guest experience
- Thank guests genuinely and express appreciation for choosing Target
- Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards
