Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- reliable and prompt attendance when picking up shifts
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- commitment to work at least one shift every four weeks
- ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 44 pounds
- capability to work in varying temperatures and remain mobile throughout shift
- respond to communication attempts from Target regarding shift availability
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in customer service or retail is beneficial but not required
- ability to communicate effectively and use positive language
- proficiency with handheld scanners and technology equipment
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- comfortable handling cash register operations
- capability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
- flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- welcome and greet guests while performing daily tasks
- engage with guests to understand and solve their specific needs
- efficiently scan and bag guest items complying with quality and safety standards
- promote and educate guests about Target's loyalty programs and digital services
- manage returns and partner with leaders to resolve guest concerns
- maintain a clean and organized work area including gathering abandoned items
- support order pick up, drive-up services and cash office processes as needed
