Job Requirements
- Ability to handle cash register operations and support cash office processes
- physical capability to scan handle and move merchandise efficiently lifting up to 44 pounds occasionally
- flexibility to pick up shifts including nights weekends and holidays
- active engagement in picking up and working shifts responding to contact attempts
- ability to work in varying temperatures and remain mobile throughout shift length
- must attend Target Welcome orientation and complete training
- minimum age and eligibility requirements as per company policy
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- strong communication skills including positive language and attentiveness to guest needs
- ability to remain focused and composed in a fast paced environment
- welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- attention to detail while multitasking
- willingness to educate guests about products and services
- ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed
- ability to work both independently and with a team
Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
- engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
- be knowledgeable about tools products and services available in the store and specific to your area to solve issues and improve guest experience
- scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately
- minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
- make guests aware of current and upcoming brand launches store activities and events
