Upon hiring, new team members participate in a welcome orientation and a structured training program tailored to prepare them adequately for their responsibilities within the store. The position mainly centers on delivering exceptional guest experiences, assisting in various service areas, and promoting Target’s loyalty programs and services.

Job Requirements
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak times
- must be able to pick up and work shifts for at least four hours every four weeks
- reliable and prompt attendance
- capable of lifting and moving merchandise safely including items up to 44 pounds without assistance
- ability to remain mobile throughout shifts
- ability to work in varying temperature and humidity conditions

- ability to accurately handle cash register operations and transactions
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior retail or customer service experience is a plus
- effective communication skills including using positive language and being attentive to guests needs
- ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
- attention to detail while multi-tasking
- willingness to educate guests and engage around products and services
- ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed
- ability to work both independently and with a team
