Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum of one shift worked every four weeks
- reliable and prompt attendance
- flexibility to work varying hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times
- ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely
- frequent lifting or moving of items up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 44 pounds
- capacity to remain mobile and work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions
- active engagement in picking up shifts and responding to contact attempts
- ability to comply with cash handling procedures and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous retail or customer service experience is an asset
- strong communication skills including positive language and attentive listening
- ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- attention to detail and ability to multitask
- willingness to educate guests and engage around products and services
- ability to use multiple frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
- engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
- be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store and specific to your area to solve guest issues and improve their experience
- scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately in compliance with safety standards and company best practices
- minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy
- promote and inform guests about current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
- assist guests with Target Loyalty program applications and use of the Target App
- handle returns and resolve guest concerns in partnership with leaders
- deliver easy and accurate service to order pickup, drive-up, and registry guests
- maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
- stock supplies during store hours while remaining available for guests
- comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training
- support cash office processes including management of cash systems
- perform additional duties based on business needs
