Job Requirements

  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Commitment to picking up at least one shift every four weeks

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous retail or customer service experience beneficial but not required

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
  • Engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
  • Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store to solve guest issues and improve experience
  • Thank guests and let them know we appreciate their choice to shop at Target
  • Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with standards
  • Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
  • Promote current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
  • Advocate for Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up
  • Understand and educate guests about features and offerings within the Target App
  • Handle returns and assist with de-escalating situations while following policies
  • Deliver accurate service to Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
  • Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area
  • Stock supplies during store hours while being available for guests
  • Adhere to safety policies and compliance standards
  • Support guest services such as order pick up and drive-up orders
  • Assist with cash office processes including cash system management
  • Perform other duties based on business needs
