Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- reliable and prompt attendance
- active engagement by working at least one shift every 4 weeks
- able to respond to shift offers in a timely manner
- capable of lifting and moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
- able to work in varying temperature conditions
- willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures
- authorized to work in the United States
- attend Target Welcome orientation and complete training program
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in customer service or retail roles advantageous but not required
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- basic technological proficiency including use of mobile apps and handheld scanners
- physical capability to lift up to 44 pounds and remain mobile during shifts
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service
- pick up shifts using myTime mobile scheduling app and maintain reliable attendance
- efficiently scan and bag items while adhering to food safety standards
- assist guests with order pick-up, Drive Up, and other fulfillment services
- promote Target loyalty programs and assist with enrollments
- maintain a clean and safe work area including stocking supplies
- de-escalate guest concerns following company policies and procedures
