This position is for an On-Demand Team Member (TM) role at Target, which offers exceptional flexibility in scheduling. As an On-Demand TM, you are empowered to work as much or as little as you prefer by selecting available shifts via the myTime mobile scheduling app, making this role ideal for individuals seeking a personalized work schedule or supplemental income. The hourly starting rate for this position is $18.25 USD.
The On-Demand Team Member is primarily responsible for delivering excellent guest service throughout the store. This includes welcoming guests warmly, assisting with their inquiries, helping them navigate both in-store and digital services, and driving guest loyalty by promoting programs and benefits offered by Target. Candidates will be trained thoroughly through an initial Target Welcome orientation followed by short-term structured training to equip them with the knowledge and skills required for success. The role requires reliable attendance and active engagement, including working at least one shift every four weeks and responding to shift offers promptly.
Typical job duties involve scanning and bagging merchandise efficiently and accurately in compliance with food safety and company standards, addressing guest concerns with problem-solving and decision-making skills, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and supporting order fulfillment services like order pick-up and Drive Up. The role also embraces opportunities for team collaboration and communication to ensure a seamless experience for guests.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- reliable and prompt attendance
- active engagement by working at least one shift every 4 weeks
- able to respond to shift offers in a timely manner
- capable of lifting and moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
- able to work in varying temperature conditions
- willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures
- authorized to work in the United States
- attend Target Welcome orientation and complete training program
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in customer service or retail roles advantageous but not required
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- basic technological proficiency including use of mobile apps and handheld scanners
- physical capability to lift up to 44 pounds and remain mobile during shifts
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
